The QUIKSTEP LadderTM remarkably unfolds from a briefcase size to a fully functional ladder in seconds.

The process of unfolding is slightly different for the 6 & 8 foot and the 10, 12 & 14 foot ladders. See the illustration below.

First, depress the two quick release buckles on the carry handle or back harness and place in a secure area, then ....


6 & 8 foot Ladder   10, 12, & 14 foot

Before unfolding the ladder, ensure you see this decal on top of the ladder facing you. If not then flip the ladder over and proceed. 		Start here for the 10 and 12 foot Quikstep ladder
When unfolding a 6 or 8 foot ladder, begin by grabbing the top rung of the folded ladder. (as seen in the image above) When unfolding a 10 ,12, or 14 foot ladder, begin by holding 2 or 3 layers of the folded ladder. (as seen in the image above)

With your knees bent and your back straight, unfold the ladder by simply lifting vertically with both hands on the rung. Pull the ladder up to your chest and begin moving backwards away from the ladder.

Continue moving backwards, gradually lowering the ladder to the floor. When the ladder is fully extended, it will snap into position, with the side bars folded up and inwards.

The QUIKSTEP LadderTM has sprung together. Always tighten the safety strap(s) before use. The QUIKSTEP LadderTM is now in a fully operational position.
